TOPIC: artificial fertilized autumn pasture ?

artificial fertilized autumn pasture ? 1 year 4 months ago #5860

I have a question: our sheep farmer neighbor has opened up for the Dreamvalley herd to graze on one of his fields. This field is used both for the production of hay, and after the harvest as a pasture for his sheep. This summer he fertilized this field with a traditional artificial fertilizer. My question: how concerned should I be to let my horses graze on that field? They love the grass, which is already eaten down by the sheep. There is also some natural grass in the woods belonging to the field, and every now and then the horses go into the wood to graze there. But mainly they eat the lower stems of the grass on the field. Should I let them graze there some hours every day? Or should I be worried for the horses with metabolic issues? Snow has arrived in Dreamvalley, and the herd has unlimited access to ecological hay the rest of the day and night...
